The Social Studies Department at North Iredell High School believes that the study of history and other related social sciences helps prepare students for citizenship in a global society.  Understanding history and culture is no longer a luxury, but a requirement as we venture into the 21^st Century.  The NIHS Social Studies Department is dedicated to helping our students thrive in today’s society.
